Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains what information HouseIQ (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and with whom we share it. It applies to the HouseIQ website and dossier tool.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our unlock form, we collect the email address you enter, the property address you searched, the parcel identifier for that property, which action (call-to-action) you clicked, and a snapshot of the dossier you were viewing at that moment.
Information collected automatically. We keep this minimal. The Service registers a service worker for performance and offline support and uses your browser's session storage to recover from load errors. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
3. How we use information
- to generate and deliver the property dossier you requested;
- to contact you about the Service in response to your request;
- to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
4. Automated (AI) processing
To produce the narrative interpretations in a dossier, property and public-record data for the searched address is sent to an automated language model (Anthropic Claude) through our processing gateway. We do not send your email address to the language model. The model generates descriptive text only; it does not make decisions about you.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described here, and we do not sell your personal information.
- Hosting and storage. Submitted information is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase.
- AI processing. Property and public-record data is processed by Anthropic to generate dossier narratives, as described above.
- Operational notifications. When you submit the form, the email address and searched address are sent to our team through email and a private messaging channel so we can follow up with you.
- Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. Property data sources
Property facts shown in a dossier come from public government records and other public sources. HouseIQ is not the system of record for that data; the relevant government authority is. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
7. Data retention
We keep submitted information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact below.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@iqseason.com. We do not sell your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
9. Security and data location
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Information may be stored and processed by us and our service providers on servers that may be located outside your state or country.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes take effect when we post the updated policy with a new effective date.
